This is the Tele you buy when you’re officially tired of chasing tone hacks on YouTube at 3am. A 2012 American Standard in that forever-classic Black finish—clean, sharp, and effortlessly tough. It’s the kind of guitar that shows up early, leaves late, and makes everybody else look unprepared.
 
Condition is very good overall. It’s got a few minor blemishes and some super-light buckle rash if you tilt it into the sun and squint, but nothing that takes away from the vibe. Plays slick, sounds right, and feels like the era when Fender actually got it perfect. Modern C neck, satin back, glossy maple board—chef’s kiss.
 
The American Standard pickups deliver that confident Tele snap without the “ice pick to the forehead” thing. Bent steel saddles, stamped brass plate, all the hardware tight and tidy. Just a rock-solid workhorse.
 
And yes—this one still has all its original case candy. Manuals, tags, tools… the whole “time capsule from 2012” spread. Plus the original hardshell case, not the gig bag that pretends it’s enough.
