Martin Standard Series OM-28 2015 - Natural

The Martin OM-28 is one of those guitars that really needs very little introduction. With its comfortable Orchestra Model body, long 25.4" scale length, and classic Martin tonewood combination, the OM-28 delivers the balance, clarity, and responsiveness that have made the model a favorite for decades.

This 2015 example features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and the timeless Style 28 appointments, including herringbone top trim, multi-ring rosette, and ivoroid binding. The rosewood on this particular guitar has a beautiful rich color and grain, and the natural top has developed a great warm look.

The guitar is in Very Good condition overall. It has been played and shows a handful of normal signs of use, including a couple of small dings, dents, scratches, and some light wear. We have included close-up photographs of the more notable areas. Nothing we see affects the playability or structural integrity of the instrument, and overall it presents extremely well for its age. Please review the photos carefully for the best representation of its condition.

It comes with a very nice Crossrock tweed hardshell case.

We make every effort to photograph and describe our instruments as accurately and transparently as possible. Used instruments can have small marks or imperfections that may be difficult to capture in photographs, so if there is a particular area of concern, please reach out before purchasing. We are always happy to provide additional photos or information.

As with any guitar purchase, we recommend having the instrument evaluated and set up by a qualified professional. Changes in temperature, humidity, shipping, and individual playing preferences can all affect setup, and what feels right for one player may not be ideal for another.

A beautiful OM-28 with the classic spruce-and-rosewood Martin recipe, tasteful play wear, and a quality hardshell case included.
