Taylor 312ce-N-LTD 2012 – Sitka Spruce / Hawaiian Koa
This 2012 Taylor 312ce-N-LTD is a limited-edition nylon-string model featuring a solid Sitka spruce top with Hawaiian koa back and sides. Built around Taylor’s Grand Concert body shape, it offers a comfortable crossover-style approach to nylon strings with a Venetian cutaway, slotted headstock, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and onboard Taylor electronics.
This guitar is in Very Good condition and shows normal signs of use for its age. There are several small bumps, scratches, and finish blemishes concentrated around and behind the bridge, all of which have been photographed in detail.
The spruce top also has a prominent irregular light-colored line running across a portion of the lower bout. While its appearance can resemble a scratch or crack at certain angles, close inspection shows this to be a natural irregularity within the wood rather than a crack, repair, or structural issue. This area has been intentionally photographed closely so buyers can clearly see exactly what is being described.
The 312ce-N is an interesting option for players who want the warmth and response of nylon strings while retaining much of the familiar feel and playability associated with a Taylor acoustic. The limited-edition 2012 specification adds Hawaiian koa back and sides in place of the woods typically associated with the standard 312ce-N.
The guitar has been inspected, tested, and is fully functional. As with all used instruments, individual setup preferences can vary, so it is being sold as tested and playable rather than represented as professionally set up.
Includes the original Taylor hardshell case.
