TMG Scarlett Nigel Hendroff Signature Guitar
This one walks in like it’s been on tour, seen some things, and came back sounding better because of it. Classic blackguard attitude with a little more swagger and a lot more intention behind every detail.
Finished in a perfectly worn-in two tone burst that actually looks right, this Scarlett nails that broken-in feel immediately. The relic work is dialed, the wear is believable, and it feels like a guitar that’s already done the hard part for you. Pick it up and it just responds.
Now here’s where it separates itself from the crowd. Nigel’s pickup choice is a set of TV Jones Power’Trons in soapbar form, which is basically the best of both worlds. You get that punch and midrange authority of a P90, but with added clarity, chime, and articulation. They clean up beautifully, but when you lean in, they push with authority without getting muddy. It’s a seriously musical setup that rewards touch and dynamics.
The bakelite Cabronita-style guard ties the whole aesthetic together and keeps things rooted in that stripped-down, no-nonsense vibe. Simple, but intentional.
Hardware has been taken up a notch too. You’ve got a Callaham upgraded Bigsby and bridge, which means smoother operation, better tuning stability, and none of that sloppy feel you get from stock setups. It actually works the way you want a Bigsby to work. Subtle movement, super usable, no drama.
Neck carve is comfortable and broken-in feeling without being overly chunky. It plays easy, chords ring out, and it just feels like a guitar you don’t have to fight.
Condition is excellent. Factory relic, so all wear is intentional. No issues, no surprises, just a dialed instrument that’s ready to go.
