Gibson Explorer 2022 – Antique Natural
 
This one is pure rock-and-roll geometry in motion — a 2022 Gibson Explorer in Antique Natural that’s been played, loved, and absolutely knows what it’s doing. It’s got that classic mahogany punch, the big futuristic silhouette, and a tone that makes you wonder why more guitars aren’t shaped like a stealth bomber.
 
Condition-wise, this is a player-grade Explorer, not a case queen. The pickup covers have earned a little patina, there are a couple minor bumps here and there, and you’ll see two small marks on the top from a previous trem system. The strap button below the neck was relocated at some point, and the neck finish was knocked back with what looks like a Scotch-Brite pad — honestly, it feels great in the hand, more broken-in than beat-up.
 
Playability and tone are where this one shines. It’s lively, resonant, loud acoustically, and the stock pickups rip with that classic aggressive Explorer midrange. If you want a guitar you can gig, record, and not be afraid to actually use, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.
