Gibson Limited Edition Firebird I – Frost Blue
This thing looks like it fell out of a 60s concept sketch and somehow landed in your rig. Frost Blue is already a killer color, but on a Firebird I it just hits different. Clean, icy, and just a little bit mean. It’s the kind of guitar that makes a Strat look like it’s trying too hard.
Single pickup, no nonsense. That Firebird mini humbucker has that raw, punchy midrange with just enough bite to cut without getting harsh. Roll the volume back and it cleans up surprisingly well, but let it rip and it’s got that snarly, garage rock attitude that these are known for. This is not a polite guitar. It doesn’t want to be.
The neck feels great, nice and comfortable without being too chunky, and that rosewood board has a really nice grain to it. Hardware is clean, everything functions exactly how it should, and it’s been fully bench tested and is ready to go.
Condition wise, it would easily be excellent if not for a bit of discoloration and a small finish crack at the base of the headstock from being on a hanger. No structural issues, purely cosmetic, but we’re calling it very good to keep it honest. Everything else is super clean.
Comes with the original Gibson hard shell case.
All guitars are tested and playable when they leave the shop; however, they are not professionally set up. This means minor tweaks may be needed to suit a buyer’s playing style, especially after shipping as temperature and humidity changes can affect setup.
